Playing Harp In Nature, Cymber Lily Quinn, harpist & composerHarp in the Park

When the weather is good, I frequently take my little harp and head to a nearby park to play for myself, for nature, and for the people walking by. It’s great fun and uplifts the whole day. Plus Peanut gets to go, too.

Each year, harpist Joanna Mell encourages us to get out there a do “Random Acts of Harping.” One year, my hubby and I set out to play in as many different places as we could find on the Big Island of Hawai’i, where we were living at the time. We went to KaLae (Southpoint), Kilauea (the volcano in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. And the all-important Mile Marker Zero – where it all starts…at Ken’s House of Pancakes.
